Community Survey now open!

We're working on something new for young people interested in music, recording and the wider music industry in Greater Shepparton.
Our first program will be a free five-week practical music program introducing participants to recording, music production, performance and releasing their own music.
Before we get started, we'd like to hear from the community.
We've put together a short survey to find out who is interested, what experience people already have, what they'd like to learn, where and when a local course would work best, and what might currently be getting in the way of pursuing music or audio.
We're also interested in the bigger picture. Is there demand for more formal music education in the region? Would young people have considered studying music production or the music industry through a local vocational pathway if it had been available to them?
The answers will help us shape the content and delivery of the five-week program, while also helping us understand what opportunities might be useful beyond this first course.
If you're a young person, musician, parent, carer, youth worker, music lover or just someone interested in seeing more creative opportunities locally, we'd love to hear from you.
Take the survey and help us build something that actually reflects what Greater Shepparton wants and needs.
Creative Sound Studio is being developed as a local community music initiative with support from Greater Shepparton City Council's Creative City Grants program.
